Simpson Marine & Beneteau Launch Beneteau Cup Hong Kong
\n \tSimpson Marine and Beneteau Asia have announced the launch of the first Beneteau Cup Hong Kong. The regatta, planned for 15th and 16th May 2021, is set to be a new flagship sailing event for Beneteau in Asia.
\n With over 137 years of experience, prestigious French shipbuilding group Beneteau is also parent to iconic brands such as Monte Carlo Yachts. The group\u2019s trademark Beneteau has been a longstanding partner for Simpson Marine for the past 35 years, and boasts nearly 45 high-performance models in its range.\u00a0
\nThe Beneteau Cup Hong Kong will be a two-day regatta hosted by the Aberdeen Boat Club with a busy sailing and social programme. These include two races – Island Race on Day 1 and Pursuit Race on Day 2 – in the HKPN and Family Classes, with an evening Awards Dinner ceremony complete with live music at the clubhouse. The venue will be decked out with island-themed \u2018French Antilles\u2019. There will be a \u2018Best Dressed Crew\u2019 award presented to the most imaginative team on the night.\u00a0
\nRounding off the event, there will be a friendly beach barbeque on one of Hong Kong\u2019s many islands after Day 2, where prizegiving will be announced.\u00a0
\nSimpson Marine is looking forward to establishing a new sailing tradition in Hong Kong with the inaugural event.\u00a0
