\n \tLast month, prolific Italian shipbuilder Azimut Yachts revealed the \u2018flagship of all flagships\u2019 of the Magellano Collection. The yard has now followed up this impressive benchmark with the Magellano 25 Metri, which although smaller than her flagship sister, more than lives up to Azimut’s scrupulous standards of artistic design and innovation.
\n The 25 Metri is the product of a collaboration between true industry greats. Azimut Yachts has partnered up with celebrated artist and architect Vincenzo de Cotiis on the interiors and renowned designer Ken Freivokh on the exteriors, resulting in nothing short of an artistic masterpiece. Extensive use of fiberglass forms a key component of the Magellano 25 Metri\u2019s design, combined seamlessly with rich materials such as brushed Verde Alpi marble, dark walnut wood and polished brass to create an impressive contrast. These efforts serve to seamlessly provide for an intricate aesthetic which is at once classic and contemporary.
\nThe yacht also draws on cutting-edge technological developments in keeping with Azimut\u2019s demanding standards for innovation. \nDe Cotiis has effectively achieved a sense of depth and volume onboard the 25 Metri, most strikingly in the huge saloon offering sweeping sea views and plenty of natural light. The crew\u2019s quarters are totally independent, a rare feature on a yacht of this size, and the living areas are intelligently based on the concept of organic geometry to offer a sense of varying depths.
