A \u2018New\u2019 Gulf Craft Emerges as Operations Continue
\n \tUAE-based luxury superyacht builder Gulf Craft is innovating and adapting in order to advance its operations under the current circumstances. Chairman Mohammed Hussein Alshaali has declared his intention to forge a \u2018New Gulf Craft\u2019, as the shipyard continues to operate at a 30% capacity while handling client interest in new superyacht projects.
\n By following strict safety regulations, Gulf Craft continues to employ over 1,300 staff in 3 different facilities across the United Arab Emirates and the Maldives. The new measures were implemented early into the coronavirus outbreak, and Gulf Craft ensured that it has taken a proactive approach which is now paying dividends. With a flexible plan introduced for staff and an efficient testing policy, the shipyard has been able to welcome back suppliers inside its facility in compliance with the regulations.
\nThis is having a positive impact on current projects at the UAE shipyard. Gulf Craft is currently working on an array of superyacht projects including the Majesty 100, Nomad 95, and Oryx 379. Negotiations are also in place with new clients for the in-construction Majesty 120, Majesty 140 and Majesty 175.
\nThe company is in a transformative period in which many work methods are being adjusted, creating the opportunity to install a new vision and direction. This is being done to strengthen the position of Gulf Craft as a shipyard operating in a post-Covid world which will no\u00a0doubt require more stringent operation procedures.
