109m Oceanco Superyacht Begins Outfitting
\n \t109m superyacht Y720 is the latest project to near its launch from esteemed Dutch shipyard Oceanco, completing the first phase of her construction at Oceanco\u2019s newly acquired construction & refit facilities. With the first stage completed on schedule and under enhanced safety restrictions, she now heads up river to Alblasserdam to start on her outfitting.
\n The 109m project features both interior and exterior design by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Her distinguishable classical proportions and elegant lines can already be seen as she left the facility, and Oceanco has revealed that she is to be fitted with an \u2018astonishing\u2019 amount of glass. Large glass windows will surround the deckhouses on the main, bridge and upper decks, affording guests unparalleled panoramic views. Lateral Naval Architects have lent their expertise to provide a technologically advanced propulsion system to support the project.
\nY720 has arrived at the newly renovated Alblasserdam outfitting facility, boasting new ecological enhancements as well as updated state-of-the-art technologies. The building\u2019s gas consumption has been cut in half by the use of heat pumps, while 250,000kWh of energy per year is generated by rooftop solar panels. Naturally for a Top100 builder of Oceanco\u2019s calibre, the facility accommodates vessels of up to 140m in its drydock, while the outfitting facilities have been increased to accommodate yachts up to 120m.
\nY720 will soon become the latest Top100 superyacht to be built by Oceanco. Her move into the outfitting stage comes less than a year after the delivery of Oceanco\u2019s last Top100 yacht, 90m DreAMBoat. DreAMBoat was launched in February 2019 and delivered in July of the same year. Y720 will join the likes of 110m Jubilee, 109m Bravo Eugenia and 106.7m Black Pearl in the astounding fleet of Oceanco superyachts above 100m in length.
