CdM Launches 42m Explorer Crowbridge
\n \tCantiere delle Marche announced this morning the successful launch of its latest explorer vessel – the 42m M\/Y Crowbridge.
\n The superyacht, which was launched successfully from CdM\u2019s Ancona shipyard, features a rugged design by Tommaso Spadolini and was built for an experienced yacht owner.
\nThe launch is the first of CdM\u2019s since the lockdown, and represents \u2018an injection of optimism for us and for all the nautical compartment,\u2019 comments Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and Sales & Marketing Director at Cantiere delle Marche.\u00a0
\nOf course, Italy was hit particularly hard amongst European countries in the earlier stages of the pandemic, with production re-opening for many yards at the beginning of May. CdM was proud to report the smooth launch of Crowbridge as symbolic of a return to normalcy, and only after very minor delays.

\nCrowbridge is a full custom explorer yacht with a rugged yet sleek exterior design. She has been built with extreme conditions in mind, with high performance capabilities and a highly sea-worthy hull form affording her the ability to navigate the most remote areas.\u00a0
\n\u201cThis project stems from a client who wishes to have a strong, comfortable, reliable vessel featuring technical characteristics similar to that of a merchant ship. He is indeed an Italian shipowner and has a vast knowledge of the yachting market.\u201d says Vasco Buonpensiere. \u201cHe asked for a robust steel construction along with system redundancy and proven commercial-grade components to make his new yacht capable and reliable while maximizing quality of life aboard,\u201d Buonpensiere adds.\u00a0
\nCdM has successfully delivered a yacht capable of both adventure and quality time onboard, with seven guest suites and four cabins for Captain and crew. These may seem very common requirements for a large yacht, yet he gave us precise indications about how private and social areas should be calibrated. He is an experienced yacht owner and he is aware of his family\u2019s expectations and habits.\u201d
