\n \tHeesen Yachts has recently released footage of its 50m hybrid Project Electra on sea trials in the North Sea.
\n Shortly after the yacht was launched in February, the announcement of Electra\u2019s sale just one month later solidified the success of the FDHF 5000 aluminium class. The second hull in her range, Electra\u2019s sister ship Home has become something of a flagship in Heesen\u2019s impressive fleet, after being awarded the RINA green award by HSH Prince Albert of Monaco.\u00a0
\nThe proven efficient hybrid propulsion system coupled with Van Oossanen\u2019s expert engineered FDHF hull propels Electra and others of her class into a new dimension of high-performance superyachts.\u00a0
\nLast year, in an exclusive interview with Superyachts.com on the importance of going green, Heesen Yachts told us, \u201cIt goes a lot deeper than simply reducing a carbon footprint.
